LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (8-22, 1-13 PSAC East) hosted Mansfield University (13-20, 7-7 PSAC East) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division doubleheader that saw two walk-off finishes as the Mounties took both games, 12-11 and 5-1.
 
Game 1: L, Mansfield 12, Lock Haven 11
 
Mansfield turned on the scoreboard with an RBI double in the bottom of the second inning to make it 1-0.
 
To start off the third, 
Justin Lichtenwalner (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) delivered an RBI triple to score 
Gavin Troutman (Boyertown, Pa./Oley Valley) to tie up the contest.
 
The Mounties smacked ten runs over the next three innings, including eight in the fifth to build their lead to 11-1.
 
After a run in the sixth, the Bald Eagles stormed back with a nine-run seventh inning effort as Lichtenwalner, Troutman, 
Zach Kaatz (Stafford, Va./Mountain View), 
Jake Mastillo (Roaring Brook Twp, Pa./North Pocono), 
Garrett Nepert (Preston, Md./Colonel Richardson (Chesapeake County CC)), 
Cameron Kutchey (Smithsburg, Md./Smithsburg), and 
Camden Moors (Johnstown, Pa./Westmont) all helped knocked in RBI's to drag the Bald Eagles all the way back to an 11-11 tie.
 
In the bottom of the seventh, Mansfield walked it off with a bases-loaded walk to secure the three-hour thriller, 12-11.
 
Game 2: L, Mansfield 5, Lock Haven 1
 
In the bottom of the second, Nepert doubled down the right field line, scoring 
Blaise Zeiders (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) to give the Bald Eagles a 1-0 lead.
 
Game two remained silent for four innings behind some strong pitching until the Mounties delivered their own RBI double in the top of the sixth to even the score.
 
The game remained knotted at 1-1 until the tenth inning when Mansfield notched the go-ahead RBI single and also added four insurance runs to grab a 5-1 lead, which they held onto to take the afternoon.
 
Starting on the mound for the Bald Eagles, 
Kevin Worek (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Abington) pitched seven innings while only allowing one run and striking out four.

The Bald Eagles wrap up their weekend series tomorrow in Mansfield with a single nine-inning game. First pitch against the Mounties is set for 2 p.m.
