EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (9-29, 2-19 PSAC East) dropped an afternoon doubleheader on the road at East Stroudsburg (32-13, 13-8 PSAC East) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match-up.

Game 1: L, 3-0

Lock Haven battled out game one, but fell to the Warriors as ESU got a strong performance from the mound. Getting the start for Lock Haven was
RJ Kruse (Milford, Pa./ Delaware Valley (Lackawanna)) who went five innings for the Bald Eagles. Kruse recorded a single strike out and allowed three earned runs.

Blaise Zeiders (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) went 1-2 in game one. Lock Haven recorded four hits as a team.
Jake Mastillo (Roaring Brook Twp, Pa./North Pocono), Zeiders,
Zach Kaatz (Stafford, Va./Mountain View), and
Camden Moors (Johnstown, Pa./Westmont) all recorded hits in game one.

Game 2: L, 7-2

In the second game,
Justin Lichtenwalner (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and
Blaise Zeiders (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) both recorded hits in the early innings to kick start the LHU offense.

In the sixth inning, Lock Haven got on the board when
Joe Shannon (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) singled to drive home Mastillo. Mastillo scored once more in the eighth inning on a Zeiders ground out to notch the second LHU run of the day.

The score held at 7-2 as East Stroudsburg held on for the win in game two.
