CALIFORNIA, Pa. - The Lock Haven swimming team hit the road for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) dual against California (Pa.) on day one of the two-day Vulcan Invitational.
 
Lauren Mummert (York, Pa./Northeastern) notched a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:28.86.
 
KaceyMarie Berardinelli (Boothwyn, Pa./Archbishop John Carrol) picked up a third-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke for the Bald Eagles, and narrowly missed a PSAC mark with a time of 1:13.78.
 
Sydney Houck (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) scored twice in a solid outing for LHU as she grabbed third-place finishes in the 400 IM (5:17.03) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:00.51).
 
In the team score, the Vulcans took the dual 102-17.
