LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven swimming team hosted Millersville in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) meet on Friday night (Dec. 13) inside Zimmerli Gym on Senior Day.

During the first break, the Bald Eagles recognized seniors
Makenzie Eades,
Sydney Houck,
Julianna Kratzer,
Emma Pequignot and
Espefani Santos-Soto for their dedication and contributions to Lock Haven and the swim program.Â

Eades finished fourth (1:18.59) in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Â
Holly Cleworth, standout sophomore, finished one tenth of a second behind first place (1:04.33) in the 100-yard backstroke. Cleworth also finished second in the the 200-yard freestyle in (2:07.63).

During the 100-yard IM, Houck had a strong outing, finishing second (1:06.23).
Â
Pequignot finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.03.
Nora Craig (31.34) also finished second in the 50-yard backstroke.Â

The quartet of Eades, Houck, Pequignot and Santos-Soto finished third (2:05.44) in the 200-yard medley relay.

NEXT UP
With the holiday season upon us and the fall 2024 academic semester in the books, the Bald Eagles will take a break for the remainder of the calendar year. Lock Haven will return to action in 2025 by traveling to Penn State Altoona for a non-conference meet starting at 6 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 17).
