LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After leading the Lock Haven women's basketball to a perfect 2-0 week at home and in conference play,
Madeline Evans was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday, Dec. 22.
Evans stuffed the stat sheet all week long for Lock Haven in a bounce back week for the program.
Evans started the week by scoring 16 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking a shot vs. Seton Hill.
Evans followed it up with 16 points, 16 rebounds, a block and a steal in a 77-60 victory over Cal. (Pa.). With her seventh offensive rebound of the game, Evans became the all-time program-leader in offensive rebounds with 281.
Evans finished the week with 16 points, 16 rebounds and a steal in a 68-59 win over Slippery Rock.
The junior has recorded a double-double in every game this season.
Following the pair of victories at home, Lock Haven improved to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the PSAC.
