JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven baseball team soared to a 12-2 victory in game two of a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division doubleheader at Pitt-Johnstown on Friday afternoon. Shepherd won the opener 5-4.

Game 2 Recap: Lock Haven 12, UPJ 2
In game two, The Haven bats could do no wrong as the Bald Eagles notched a game-high 11 hits, which led to 12 runs en route to a 12-2 victory.

Lock Haven led 4-1 after three innings of play, but erupted for eight runs over the final two innings to secure the victory and the split on the day.

Bryce Vincent powered the explosive Lock Haven offense as he went a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Morgan Billotte (2 RBI) and
Stephen McMillan (RBI) both finished with two hits, including a pair of doubles by Billotte.
Â
Ethan Nagy doubled and drove in a pair, while
Zachary McEllroy and
Nick White picked up RBIs.

As a team, The Haven drew a game-high six walks.

On the mound, Bald Eagle starter
Jason Labrador pitched six complete innings and allowed just one run, while striking out four hitters to earn the victory.
Caleb Zimmerman stuck out one in one inning of relief.

Game 1 Recap: UPJ 5, Lock Haven 4
Lock Haven's offense came out of the gates on fire and scored four runs in the top of the first inning to lead early.

McMillan tripled in a run and
Jake Ambrosio hit a two-RBI single to highlight the rally.
Â
However, after a scoreless bottom of the first, UPJ scored four runs over the next three innings to knot the score at 4-4.
Â
In the bottom of the seventh with one out, UPJ drew a walk with bases loaded to score the game-winning run.

On the mound for Lock Haven,
Garrett Starr pitched four-complete innings and was charged with three earned runs, while striking out three hitters.
Brady Myers tossed 2.1 innings in relief and struck out a game-high four batters.

Vincent finished 2-for-3 with a double, McMillan (3B) and Ambrosio finished with RBIs.

Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles return home on Saturday, April 19 to host the Mountain Cats at Watkins Field starting at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
