Women’s Cross Country hosts Penn State in Dolan Duals; Strange leads Bald Eagles

The Bald Eagles opened the 2025 season by hosting Penn State University in the annual Dolan Duals on Friday in Lock Haven, Pa.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's cross country team opened its 2025 season today (Friday, Sept. 5) by hosting the Dolan Duals vs. Penn State.

Leading the charge for The Haven was sophomore Kaydence Strange, who placed ninth of 23 with a time of 15:54.5.

Nicole Carroll finished just behind Strange with a time of 16:02.0.

Katy Todd (16:22.1), Paige Watson (16:30.9), Emily Black (16:47.6) and Addison Farrer (16:59.8) rounded out the top-six for The Haven.

Lock Haven will travel to New Rochelle, N.Y., for the Br. John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions on Friday, Sept. 12 at 10:45 a.m.
