LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gabby Gunnip went over 200-career points and the Lock Haven lacrosse team used a huge second quarter to soar past Jefferson, 12-8, at home on Saturday afternoon.

The second period proved to be the difference after The Haven outscored Jefferson 6-0 to head into the break leading 9-2.

Jordan Ellis scored twice and Gunnip had her stick in three different goals during the run.

The Rams outscored Lock Haven 6-3 in the second half, but couldn't overcome the Bald Eagles' dominance in the second quarter.

The Bald Eagles allowed their fewest goals on the season behind a dominant back line and a game-high 14 saves by
Gretchen King.

Mackenna Brown led the defense with three caused turnovers and four ground balls, while
Hadley Munn added three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Gunnip led the offense with a pair of goals and four assists, pushing her past 200 points in her decorated career.

Makayla Kelly scored a game-high three goals and dished out a pair of helpers, while
Lexi Bunk and Ellis both finished with two goals and as assist.

Addy Palm rounded out the goal scorers for The Haven.
