LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –  The Lock Haven baseball team squared off against Bloomsburg this Tuesday in a nine-inning affair, falling 12-6.
The Haven jumped to an early 1-0 lead in the first, but the Huskies would score five runs across the next three innings to put them out in front for the rest of the afternoon.
Cayden Robertson hit an RBI double in the fourth to cut the deficit to three. Tom Rohan drove in another run thanks to his RBI single, cutting the lead to two.
Bloomsburg pushed across two more runs in the seventh, making the score 7-3.
Cayde McCloskey (1B) and Kellen Jackson (SF) drove in a combined three runs to cut the lead to one in the seventh.
However, Bloomsburg scored five insurance runs in the ninth to secure the victory.
Zachary McEllroy, Rohan, and McCloskey each had multiple hits, respectively. Braden Cummings also reached base four times, going 1-for-2 with a single, hit-by-pitch, and two walks.
The loss puts Lock Haven to 5-29 and pushes the Huskies to 20-12.
