SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Lock Haven fell to No. 8 Slippery Rock on the road in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest on Saturday night.
Lock Haven moves to 5-5 on the season and 2-3 in the PSAC West, while Slippery Rock remains unbeaten at 12-0, 5-0 PSAC.
The game was deadlocked at 2-2 after the opening 15 minutes, but The Rock outscored The Haven 13-1 over the second and third period to put the game out of reach.
Makayla Kelly found the back of the night twice, while
Lexi Bunk,
Peyton Masters and
Gabby Gunnip also scored. Bunk added an assist.
Lock Haven goalkeeper
Gretchen King finished with a game-high 12 saves and a team-high three ground balls in 60 minutes.
