KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The Lock Haven men's soccer program earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
 
The honor is given to schools for outstanding academic achievement in the classroom.
 
A total of 801 soccer teams (338 men, 463 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 187 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
 
Under ninth-year head coach Patrick Long, The Haven secured a 3.38 GPA to land the honor.

The Bald Eagles are set to kick off the 2026 season at home on Thursday, Aug. 27 when they host Frostburg State at 4 p.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium.
