Lock Haven Athletics

2011: Laura started off the season with a nice performance placing 20^th at the Dolan Duals then again placing 8^th with a time of 24:32 at the 2011 Division II Challenge. At the Penn State National meet she finished in 120^th, 38^th at the PSAC Championships with a time of 22:29.6, and 42^nd overall at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships. Laura was a key part in helping the Lady Eagles to earn a second place overall spot at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships and a first ever trip to the NCAA Division II National Championship meet where she paced the way for the team with an 86^th place overall and a time of 23:23.9.

2010: Finished 10^th at the LHU Invite, 15^th at the Dickinson Long Course Invite, 53^rd at the PSU National Invite, 10^th at LHU River Run, and 48^th at the PSAC Championships.  Laura will look to continue her success in 2011.

In High School: Winner of Golden Athlete and Outstanding Athlete Awards. 

Personal: Daughter of Mike and Tracey Histand...Born on November 19, 1991...Majoring in Early Childhood Education.
