Biography

2024 REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON 

Awards: First Team All-PSAC … First Team D2CCA All-Region … D2Football.com’s Elite 100 … Don Hansen All-American. 

Season: Started 11 games with 69 receptions, 1146 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Hauled in a season-long reception of 79 yards. Averaged 104.18 yards per game. 

One of the top playmakers in the country, Young secured the PSAC receiving triple crown after earning the top marks in receiving yards (1,146), receiving yards-per-game (104.2) and receiving touchdowns (11). The 11 TDs tied the all-time single season record for receiving touchdowns and the 1,146 yards are the second-most in school history for a single season. 

  

Young went over 100-yards receiving in seven games and hauled in a touchdown in every game but three. He also caught two touchdowns in three different games. 

2023 REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON 

Season: Appeared in 11 games with 663 receiving yards in 31 receptions with six receiving touchdowns while having one rushing attempt. Defensively having three total tackles and three solo tackles.
