2011: Katie started off her sophomore season with a solid 11^th place finish at the Dolan Duals with a time of 14:43.55 then had a great performance finishing 4^th overall with the time of 23:37 at the 2011 Division II Challenge. Katie again had an impressive showing placing 4^th at the LHU Invite and 9^th at the 38^th-annual Paul Short Run with times of 22:23.10 and 22:07, respectively. At the Penn State National meet she led the way for the Lady Eagles placing 33^rd overall covering the 6K course in 22:24. At the PSAC Championships, Katie finished in 9^th place, second overall for the team with a time of 21:32.9. She took 11^th overall and earned All-Region status at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships helping lead her team to a second place overall spot. In the Lady Eagles first ever debut at the NCAA Division II National Championship meet, Katie finished 132^nd overall with an end to an outstanding sophomore year.

2010: Finished 4^th at the LHU Invite, 5^th at the Dickinson Long Course Invite, 49^th at the PSU National Invite, 2^nd at the LHU River Run, and 48^th at the Atlantic Region Championships.  Katherine will look to continue her success in 2011.

In High School: Valedictorian of class...Member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society...Seven time State Championship qualifier...Four time PIAA State Medalist in Cross Country including a 3rd place finish at the PIAA AA Girls Cross Country Championships...District IV AA Girls Cross Country Champion. 

Personal: Daughter of William and Ann Marie Sick...Born on September 16, 1991...Majoring in Health and Physical Education.
