Assistant Coach - Sarah Hein

The Lock Haven University swimming team recently announced the addition of a new assistant coach to the staff as Sarah Hein will join the Bald Eagles as an assistant coach.
 
Hein is a 1998 graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln where she completed her bachelor's in political science. She received her master's from Delta State University in 2000 where she studied social science education.
 
Most recently, Hein served as an assistant coach the Nittany Lion Aquatic Club at nearby Penn State University. From 2018-19 she was also an assistant coach at the University of Arkansas's Razorback Aquatic Club.
 
During her collegiate swimming career, Hein racked up a slew of awards including All-American status while at Ashland University. She also won conference championships at both Ashland and Lincoln-Nebraska and still currently holds the Ashland University record in the 500-yard freestyle. Hein was also an Academic All-American and placed fifth at the Division II national championships.
