SHIPPENSBURG, PA. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (20-10, 14-8 PSAC) downed Shippensburg University (17-16, 9-13 PSAC) in five sets to end the conference with top PSAC rankings.

With today's win LHU clinches the top seed heading into the 2014 PSAC tournament.

Coming off a huge conference win against Millersville last night, the Lady Eagles battled through five sets to seal an, 3-2 (25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 26-24, & 15-9) Haven victory.
Â
Shippensburg held at least a six point lead in each set, but the Lady Eagles held strong defensively in the win.
Â
Offensively, LHU was firing on all cylinders as four Lady Eagles recorded double figures.
Â
Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) and
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) continued to have a dominating 2014 campaign. Anderson recorded a match-high 21 kills and six digs.

Flick recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 16 digs.

Kaleigh Hudak (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) and
Toryn Quivers made their mark on the score sheet as Hudak tallied 11 kills and Quivers added 10 in the win.

Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) delivered an all-around effort with another double-double this season. Brown dished out 55 assists, tallied 34 digs, and registered three blocks.Â

Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hopewell) led LHU with a season-high 40 digs and senior
Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) added 16 digs.

Freshman
Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) continued to add to her remarkable freshman campaign with 13 digs in the win.

The Lady Eagles were aided by eight aces and 16 assisted blocks.Â
