LOCK HAVEN, PA. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (8-4, 3-2, PSAC) downed visiting East Stroudsburg University (4-9, 0-5 PSAC) tonight at Thomas Fieldhouse on The PSECU court.
After dropping the first set, Lock Haven (8-4, 3-2 PSAC) rallied to win 3-1 (18-25, 25-13, 25-13, & 25-11) over ESU (4-9, 0-5 PSAC).
Senior
Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) and junior
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) fueled The Haven attack with 15 and 14 kills, respectively.
Flick assisted three blocks in the win.
Freshman
Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) continued to have a sensational rookie season with 10 kills and eight digs.
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) logged a double-double with 42 assists and 18 digs.
Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hopewell) halted The Warrior attack with a team-high 20 digs.
Senior
Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) added 15 digs in four sets.
The Lady Eagles were aided by two aces12 assisted blocks.
Lock Haven is right back in action tomorrow , September 17 to host a pair of matches against Kutztown University (1 pm) and Daemen College (5 pm).
