LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (15-10, 7-7 PSAC) beat West Chester (19-7, 7-7 PSAC) in straight sets, 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-22). With the win tonight the Bald Eagles improve to 27-0 all-time vs. West Chester .
Leading the way offensively was freshman
Brittany Moyer (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain) and senior
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle). Moyer had 12 kills and Flick racked up 11 kills while hitting .391.
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) helped spark the LHU offense with 32 assists. She also tallied 13 digs in the match.
Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) had 18 digs to help lead the Bald Eagles to victory.
Tonight marked the Bald Eagles annual "Dig Pink" match as LHU head coach
Dan Kreiger and his squad continue to do all they can raise awareness and battle cancer.
Lock Haven is off until Friday, October 30 when the Bald Eagles travel to Millersville (7 p.m.)
