MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (5-5-1, 4-2 PSAC) was downed 2-0 tonight on the road at No. 9 Millersville (10-0-1, 7-0 PSAC) in conference action.
The two teams battled evenly for much of the 90-minute match, but a Millersville goal in each half proved the difference.
Millersville led 1-0 at halftime after the Marauders opened the scoring in the 25
th minute on a goal from Jaime Vasquez.
Again, the second half, much like the first proved to be a back and forth tussle, but Millersville scored an all-important insurance goal in the 75
th minute and hung on for the 2-0 victory.
Jacob Oldaker (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry) did all he could to spark the offense and finished with six shots.
LHU returns to action on Saturday, October 10 (3:30 p.m.) at Pitt-Johnstown.
