MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (4-12, 3-7 PSAC East) dropped a pair of games today at Millersville University (22-6, 9-3 PSAC East) as the Marauders competed the four-game Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East sweep.

Millersville won game one, 4-2 today, before taking game two, 6-4.

Yesterday (Sunday, March 29), Millersville took the first two games of the four-game set and spoiled Lock Haven's home-opener.

Highlighting game one today was back-to-back home runs in the top of the sixth for LHU.

Ryan Henritzy (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) and
Austin Botts (Seven Valleys, Pa./Wingate Univ.) looked to spark the Haven offense in the top of the sixth, as they led off the inning with back-to-back home runs, cutting the Marauder lead to 4-2.

Henritzy was 2-for-3 at the plate, while
Tyson Petersheim (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) added a 2-for-4 plate performance.

Madison Neddo (Earleville, Md./Coppin State Univ.) scattered five hits over six innings. He struck out five.

Despite the loss, LHU outhit Millersville 8-5 and recorded a total of 17 hits in the two games today.

Game 2 Recap: L, 6-4Â
Lock Haven scored four runs on nine hits, rallying for two runs in the top of sixth, before adding one run in the seventh, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.

Ethan Moore (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) hit a two-run homer in the sixth.

Ryan Koch (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore),
Justin Sleigh (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) and
Aaron Cummings (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) all tallied a pair of hits for LHU.

Joe Nestor (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) struck out six over six innings.

Lock Haven returns home tomorrow (Tuesday, March 31) to host Bloomsburg in a PSAC East doubleheader at 1 p.m.Â
