The Bald Eagles were down early as the Lakers scored one goal in the first before Andrew Moore (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) responded when he took the loose ball in the box and fired it home in the 51st minute.

Moore helped LHU take the lead in the 59th minute as his shot from just outside the box hit the left post and in to give Lock Haven the 2-1 lead. Mercyhurst would then respond five minutes later as they converted a penalty kick to tie up the match.
