SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (11-12, 4-7 PSAC) was downed on the road to Shippensburg (17-6, 10-1 PSAC) 3-0 (25-18, 27-20, 25-23) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
The Haven kept in contact in each set but could not manage to push through the tough Shippensburg team.
The Bald Eagle offense was led by
Gabrielle Stick (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) and her nine kills while
Chloe Williams (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) chipped in with her eight kills.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) was all over the court as she assisted on 24 kills while also recording 11 digs.
Shaye Whiteman (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) led Lock Haven on defense with 24 total digs.
LHU returns to Thomas Field House on Friday, October 27 when they are set to host Seton Hill at 7:00 p.m.
