WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (3-16, 1-8 PSAC) fell to West Chester University (18-5, 7-2 PSAC), 3-0, (25-14, 25-12 & 25-19) on Friday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.
 
The Golden Rams took control early in the opening set and notched a 25-14 win behind an impressive .333 hitting percentage. West Chester took the second and third sets 25-12 and 25-19, respectively.
 
Grace Hugar (Clarence, Pa./Bald Eagle) led the Bald Eagles in kills with six, and Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) added another four from her setter position. Gaston also handed out 15 assists.
 
Defensively, Regan Happ (Lighthouse Point, Fla./Westminster Academy) tallied a match-high 15 digs. Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/ (Indian River)) also chipped in defensively adding nine digs of her own along with two service aces.
 
Next Up:
The Bald Eagles get right back in action tomorrow (Oct. 30) when they travel to Millersvillle. That match is set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
