LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's cross country team hosted the 2024 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championship today (Saturday, Nov. 9) on a picturesque fall day in The Haven.
 
Jakob Rager led the way for the Bald Eagles as he placed 38^th overall. Lock Haven finished 14^th of 21 in the team standings.
 
Jan Thewes of Davis & Elkins won the individual race after coving the 10K course in 29:51.0. His victory helped lead D&E to the team title with 40 points as the Senators edged out Shippensburg (2^nd, 45 pts.). Charleston placed third with 81 points.
 
Rager finished 38^th of 156 in 31:42.6 (10K) for The Haven.
 
Kristian Mizdail placed 56^th in 32:21.0 and Gavin Furey rounded out Lock Haven's top-three today with a 76^th place finish in 32:55.2.
 
Evan Klinger and Colin Simander finished 105^th (33:32.5) and 109^th (33:38.2), respectively.
