EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – On a rain filled night (Wednesday, Sept. 25), the Lock Haven men's soccer team allowed just one score, but that was all that was needed, as East Stroudsburg edged out the Bald Eagles at home, 1-0, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East vs. West crossover match.
ESU scored the contest's lone goal in the 11
th minute and secured a shutout to earn the victory.

Ethan Beck made his first career start and finished with five saves in the full 90 minutes. The Haven defense continued its streak of strong defensive efforts
On the attack, three Bald Eagles fired off two shots, while
Kade Black recorded the team's lone shot on goal.
ESU held a 12-8 shot-advantage, while Lock Haven held a narrow 5-4 advantage on corner kicks.
Lock Haven moves to 2-3-1 overall on the young season and ESU remains unbeaten to improve to 3-0-2.
