HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Lock Haven men's cross country team, ranked No. 7 team in the Atlantic Region, finished second of 16 teams in the Highlander Invitational on Saturday morning (Oct. 11). The Bald Eagles had two top-five finishers in a field of 213 runners.
 
Leading the way for Lock Haven was Jakob Rager, who finished third after covering the 8,000-meter course in 24:49.9.
 
Right behind Rager, Brayden Frair finished fifth with a time of 24:54.7.
 
Gavin Furey continued the strong day for the Bald Eagles, finishing 11th with a time of 25:18.0.
 
Evan Klinger (26:02.0, 24th) and Owen Hibell (26:21.8, 33rd) rounded out the top five finishers for the Bald Eagles.
 
Up Next for Lock Haven:
The Lock Haven men's cross country team will return to action in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship in Edinboro, Pa., on Saturday, October 25th.
