LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Alana Robinson (Defense) and
Madeline Evans (Offense) swept the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Weekly Awards, the conference office announced on Monday (Nov. 24).
The Bald Eagles got back on track last week by winning back-to-back games at home by 25-or-more points to even its record at 2-2 on the season.
The entire team was clicking on all cylinders, but it was the play of Evans and Robinson that powered the charge.
Evans, who has recorded a double-double in every game this season, averaged 16 points, 16.5 rebounds and three assists to lead The Haven to a perfect week.
Evans scored 21 points on 6-of-7 shooting and pulled down 16 rebounds in the 88-48 win over Davis & Elkins. Evans pulled down 17 more rebounds and added 11 more points in the 86-59 victory over Frostburg State.
The program's all-time leader in blocks, Robinson, finished the week with seven blocks, nine steals and 14 rebounds in the pair of wins. She also recorded a 14-point, 11-rebound in the game vs. Davis & Elkins, while dishing out five assists.
