LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After finding pay dirt three times in the Lock Haven football team's victory over Millersville on Saturday, Bald Eagle wideout 
Mekhi Watson was named the co-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Athlete of the week, the conference office announced on Monday.
 
The Bald Eagles have now brought the weekly conference award for three consecutive weeks.
 
Watson had a monster game on Saturday to lead the Bald Eagles to a 42-7 victory at Millersville. The standout wide receiver finished with three total touchdowns to headline The Haven's season-high 42 points. 
 
Watson was on the receiving end of a pair touchdown throws, while also adding another score on the ground. He finished with seven receptions for 146 yards with a long reception of 80 yards.
 
With the victory, The Haven improved to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the PSAC East after winning its third straight game, while also securing its third straight five-win season. Lock Haven's last three game winning streak came back in 1981.
 
Lock Haven is looking to make history by securing a winning season with two remaining games on the 2025 schedule, both at home.

After two straight PSAC East road games, the Bald Eagles will return home to close the 2025 regular season with a pair of games at Hubert Jack Stadium. Lock Haven is set to host Shepherd on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. Looking ahead, The Haven will cap the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15 by hosting Gannon.
