The Bald Eagles will host Daemen (N.Y.) in a non-conference game on Sunday (Feb. 23) at 2 p.m. on Charlotte Smith Field.
 
The opener was previously scheduled to be played at Daemen, but has been moved to Lock Haven due to field conditions.

Year 10 Under Coach Reese
Lindsay Reese is set to enter her 10th season as head coach of the Lock Haven women's lacrosse program.
 
The 2024 season for Reese and the Lock Haven lacrosse was one to remember, as The Haven finished with a 14-4 record after reaching the PSAC Tournament for the first time since 2018. The Haven secured its first 14-win season since 2016, while reaching as high as No. 15 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine National Pool, while also earning a top-six ranking in the Atlantic Region.
 
Lock Haven racked up six wins in front of the home crowd, but it is their 8-2 road mark that led the charge.
 
The Bald Eagles, who sat atop the Western Division standings at multiple points throughout the year, earned a 11-10 victory over No. 23 Seton Hill on the road.

2024 Lacrosse Season Statistics
The Haven returns a plethora of talent from the squad that reached the PSAC Postseason Tournament in 2024 and will look to mix that with a versatile group of 14 newcomers.
 
The Bald Eagles return four PSAC West All-Conference athletes and Freshman of the Year Makayla Kelly.
 
Attacker Gabby Gunnip, defender Mackenna Brown and midfielder Nadia Baskot are set to return after earning their first all-conference honors.
 
Gunnip led the program in goals (57) and points (77), while Brown led the defense in ground balls (44) and caused turnovers (33). Baskot did a little bit of everything and finished the season with 26 goals, 13 assists, 18 ground balls and 16 turnovers.
 
The Road Ahead
The Haven returns home for its next three non-conference games to host Ashland (Feb. 26), ESU (March 1) and Regis (March 5).
 
The Bald Eagles open PSAC West division play on Wednesday, March 19 when they travel to Edinboro.

PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll
As a top-three team in the West, the Bald Eagles are predicted by the coaches to reach the conference tournament
 
Seton Hill earned four first-place votes to earn preseason favorites in the West, while Slippery Rock comes in behind them after earning two first-place votes. Lock Haven and IUP are predicted third and fourth. Gannon and Edinboro round out the West.
 
In the Eastern Division, West Chester received five first-place votes to earn the top spot, while Kutztown was picked second and earned one first-place vote. East Stroudsburg and Bloomsburg round out the top-four, while Millersville, Shepherd and Shippensburg were ranked five-through-seven.
