Penn State Results | Susquehanna Results
UNIVERSITY PARK/SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's track and field team returned to action on Friday (Feb. 21) and the Bald Eagles sent athletes to the Penn State and Susquehanna Tune Up.
The Penn State Tune up took place at the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter II Indoor Track, while the SU Tune Up was held inside the Robert I. Estill Fieldhouse.

Ryan Miller (400m),
Josiah Schans (60mH),
Austin Kravetz (60mH),
Jakob Rager (Mile),
Eric Zalar (Weight Throw and Shot Put), and
Peter Bellomo (Shot Put)
Running Highlights
Ryan Miller ran to a fifth-place finish where he hit his first NCAA Championship mark and a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship mark with a time of 48.06 on the banked track at Penn State.
Josiah Schans and
Austin Kravetz ran to a PSAC Championship mark with them finishing second and third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.32 and 8.63, respectively.
In the mile,
Jakob Rager recorded another PSAC Championship mark time of 4:15.91.
Two relay teams finished in podium spots in the 4x400-meter relay.
Brennan Miller,
Aydan Summers,
Cameron Lewis, and
Ryan Miller finished second with a time of 3:18.62. The squad of
Brennan Miller,
Lorenzo Thompson,
Morgan Gavitt, and Anden Aitkins finished third with a time of 3:23.77.
Another team of
Jacob Watson,
Lukas Epitropakis,
Trey Wagner, and
Rocky Romani finished third at Susquehanna with a time of 3:49.26.
Noah Spayd finished second in the 5000-meter with a time of 16:35.99.
Field Event Highlights
At Susquehanna,
Peter Bellomo,
Eric Zalar, and
Nathan Fetchkan swept the podium in shot put where Bellomo and Zalar threw for a PSAC Championship distance of 14.77 (48-05.50) and 14.43 (47-04.25), respectively. Fetchkan threw for a distance of 14.08 (46-02.50)
Zalar added another PSAC Championship mark and first-place with a distance of 17.48 (57-04.25) in the weight throw.
Ben Streator jumped to a third-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 6.36 (20-10.50).
In the high jump,
Shawn Hertzog jumped for a height of 1.84 (6-00.50) earning himself third-place.
At Penn State,
Matthew Muthler recorded a long jump of 6.60 (21-08.00), which was good for a third-place podium spot.

Lock Haven will send a limited number of student-athletes to tomorrow's (Saturday, Feb. 22) Marc Deneault Invitational, hosted by Cornell.
Postseason on the Horizon:
The Bald Eagles are set to compete in the 2024-25 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday and Sunday, March 1-2 at Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pa.).
