LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Matthew Muthler and Ryan Miller continue to add to their long list of postseason awards, as the duo earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American honors, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The academic honor puts a bow on the historic season for the duo, who finished their college careers as PSAC Individual Champions, PSAC Top 10, PSAC Scholar Champions, Atlantic All-Region, CSC All-District and NCAA and CSC Academic All-American.

Muthler and Miller have both been named Lock Haven Male Athlete of the Year during their careers and will go down as two of the most decorated men's track & field athletes in Bald Eagle program history.

After winning the PSAC Individual Championship in the heptathlon (PSAC Record) and decathlon (PSAC Record), Muthler was honored as the PSAC's top Field Athlete at both the indoor and outdoor conference championship. Muthler went on to secure his first NCAA All-American honor at the Indoor National Championship, where he placed 12th in the country in the heptathlon. The senior followed with his second All-American nod at the Outdoor National Championships, after finishing eighth in the decathlon with 7073 points.

Miller, who was recently honored as the PSAC Track Athlete of the Year, kicked off his postseason campaign by winning the 400-meter dash at the Outdoor PSAC Championships, before earning All-American honors at the NCAA Championship when he posted a blazing time of 46.58 in the preliminary round (10th), just .01 seconds behind the Lock Haven and PSAC record.

The duo also secured All-Atlantic Region honors during the indoor and outdoor season.
