LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lily Warlow and
Gianna Gamble scored and the Lock Haven women's soccer team blanked Mansfield to earn a 2-0 victory at home on Tuesday night.
With the victory, the Bald Eagles improve to 1-2-1 in the PSAC East and 2-2-1 overall. Mansfield falls to 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in the East.
Warlow scored her first-career goal off a beautiful setup from
Leana Cuzzocrea and
Maci Shaffer.
Gamble also scored her first-career goal, off a perfectly-place corner entry from
Lauren Straub.
Lock Haven recorded season-highs in shots (25), shots on goal (13) and corner kicks (14). Five different Bald Eagles recorded two shots on goal.
The Bald Eagles controlled possession from start to finish and did not surrender a single shot to the Mounties. Goalkeeper
Megan Miller notched her second shutout of the season.

The Haven has the weekend off and will return to the pitch next Wednesday (Sept. 24) to host Millersville at Hubert Jack Stadium at 3 p.m.
