LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven men's basketball team wrapped up the 2025-26 regular season on Saturday by hosting Shippensburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division game on Senior Day. The PSAC Tournament bound Bald Eagles fell to Ship, 87-75.
The Haven finished the regular season 10-18 overall and 6-15 in the PSAC, earning the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Division for the upcoming Conference Championship Tournament. The Bald Eagles will travel to No. 3E Shepherd on Monday, March 2 for the opening round of the tournament. A dominant second-half surge from Shippensburg (14-14, 9-12 PSAC) proved too much to overcome Saturday afternoon, as the Raiders pulled away late in the second half to earn the road victory.
The Bald Eagles trailed by seven at halftime, 39-32, and pulled within striking distance multiple times in the second half before the Raiders extended their lead to double digits for good.
Keith Warren led the Bald Eagles offensively, finishing with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 3-of-9 from three-point range, to go along with four free throws made and two assists.
Inserted into the starting lineup,
Mike Knouse gave Lock Haven a lift, going 4-of-6 from the field with three three-pointers and finishing with 12 points, four assists and two steals in 22 minutes.
Dyllon Scott contributed 12 points and a team-high five assists, while
Blake Deegan posted eight points and five rebounds while recording two blocks and a steal.
Chris Cornish pulled down seven rebounds off the bench, and
Devon Nelson added eight points in a reserve role.
Saturday was also the program's senior day and the Bald Eagles honored Scott, Warren, Knouse and Brandon Witmer (manager) for their dedication and contributions to Lock Haven.
