FULL RESULTS
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Lock Haven men's track and field team opened the outdoor season this weekend at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The Bald Eagles earned nine Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualifying marks.
Josiah Schans set a new Lock Haven event record in the 110m Hurdles by finishing in a blazing time of 14.20. The time was an NCAA Provisional mark along with a PSAC Qualifier.
Myka Simmons ran 10.74m in 100m prelims and qualified for the 2026 PSAC Championships. The time is the third fastest in Lock Haven history.
Simmons also impressed in the 200m by finishing in 21.38. The time is the second fastest in Lock Haven event history and a PSAC qualifier.
Peter Bellomo and
Carter Young both earned PSAC qualifiers in the Javelin Throw. Bellomo reached 192-02 (58.58m) and Young reached 189-03 (57.68m). The duo finished sixth and seventh respectively.
Matt Reinard sped through the 400m Hurdles by finishing in 54.65. Reinard earned third place and a PSAC qualifying time. Schans also earned a PSAC qualifier in the event by finishing in 56.27.
Anden Aitkins punched his ticket to the PSAC Championship in the 800m by finishing in 1:53.80 and took sixth place.
Freshman
Brayden Frair earned a PSAC qualifier in his first 3000m Steeplechase. Frair finished in 9:43.66 and placed fourth.
More Bald Eagles stood out in their respective events.
Kristian Mizdail took second place in the 10000m by finishing in 31:30.26,
Parker Keiser took seventh (33:20.57).
Jakob Rager took second in the 5000m and finished in 15:15.38.
Owen Hibell took fourth in the event with a 15:17.59.
Nick Bellomo finished fourth in the Decathlon. Bellomo finished with 5735 points highlighted by a first-place finish in the Decathlon Pole Vault (13-07.25, 4.15m).
Gavin Furey took fourth in the mile with a time of 4:19.47.

The Lock Haven men's outdoor track and field team will compete again on Friday (March 27) and Saturday (March 28) at the Jim Taylor Duals at Susquehanna University.
