LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven lacrosse standout Makayla Kelly was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Makayla Kelly continued her strong start to the season by totaling nine goals, an assist, seven draw controls and two caused turnovers on the week.
On Wednesday at Frostburg State, the junior recorded two career milestones.
Makayla Kelly was the game's leading goal scorer with four, including the 100th of her career. Kelly also earned the milestone of 100 career draw controls as she tied a game-high with five.
On Saturday vs. Edinboro, Kelly added five goals, an assist and two draw controls in a dominant 19-7 win to improve the Bald Eagle's record to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in PSAC West competition.
Kelly is now Lock Haven's leading point scorer on the season with 31 through six games.
