Schans is coming off a Lock Haven record-setting performance at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships (Mar. 1). Schans finished in 7.94 seconds and took home the conference championship.
Zalar earned his berth back on January 24 when he set a mark of 67-2 (20.47m) at the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell. That mark stands as a Lock Haven record and was a PSAC record at the time.
