Game 1: Lock Haven 14, UPJ 9
The Haven came out of the gates on fire and scored eight runs on seven hits through the opening three innings to build an early 8-1 advantage.
The bulk of the runs came from a six-hit, seven-run top of the second, which was highlighted by five runs on a pair of RBI-doubles from
Zachary McEllroy (2 RBI) and
Jerry Lambert (3 RBI).
However, UPJ took advantage of a few Lock Haven mishaps and used timely hitting to rally for seven runs over the fourth and fifth innings to knot the score at 8-8 heading into the bottom of the fifth.
Lock Haven quickly responded during its half of the fifth and
Jaxson Pupo capped off a three-run rally to put LH back in front 11-8.
The Bald Eagles put the game away with three more runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Braden Cummings (2) and Lambert drove in runs in the inning.
Nate Mostosky picked up the win after throwing a scoreless inning in relief, while
Dylan McKenna tossed the final two frames to pick up his second save.

Game 2: UPJ 12, Lock Haven 9
In game two, UPJ struck first with four unearned runs in the opening frame to build an early 4-0 advantage.
Lock Haven cut its deficit in half, 4-2, after a pair of runs came around to score on a botched double play off the bat of
Cayde McCloskey.
However, UPJ scored eight runs over the final three innings to create the separation it needed.
Lock Haven wouldn't go down without a fight, scoring four runs in the fifth and three in the seventh, but the deficit proved to be too much.
