PSAC Release | 2026 Lock Haven Schedule
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its 2026 Women's Volleyball Preseason Polls on Thursday, Aug. 13, as voted on by the league's coaches.
The Lock Haven women's volleyball team is predicted by the league's coaches to finish sixth in the Eastern Division in 2026.

Shippensburg was voted No. 1 in the 2026 PSAC Eastern Division Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll and tallied five first-place votes. The Raiders finished the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 20-9 (12-2 in PSAC play) and return PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honoree Shay Kolivoski (582 digs, second-most in the conference.) Also back is Second Team All-Conference player Hailey Cappleman, who was second on the team in both kills (276) and blocks (77).
The No. 2 team in the 2026 East poll is Shepherd (two first-place votes), who finished 2025 with an overall record of 19-11 (8-6 PSAC.) The Rams return much of that team, including three All-Conference players: First Teamer Sophia Ryan (who led the PSAC in hitting percentage at .367 on 272 kills in addition to 136 blocks) and Second Team Honorees Amya Davis (286 kills, 38 blocks) and Ada McCoy (a team-high 342 kills.)
Defending PSAC champion East Stroudsburg, voted the No. 3 team, must move on after the graduation of three-time PSAC East Athlete of the Year Anna Coulter. Kelly Crites is the top returning attacker for the warriors, totaling 308 kills last fall.
No. 4 Kutztown (15-13 overall, 7-7 PSAC) return a pair of dangerous attacking players in Paige Skinner (393 kills in 2025, third-most in the PSAC) and 2025 PSAC East Freshman of the Year Madilyn Bogovic (361 kills).
No. 5 West Chester, No. 6 Lock Haven, No. 7 Bloomsburg, and No. 8 Millersville complete the remainder of the 2026 East poll.
A Look Back at 2025
The 2025 season marked the third under Bald Eagle head coach
Mike Kraft.
The Haven wrapped up 2025 with a 10-18 overall record and 6-8 mark in the PSAC East. The bulk of the Bald Eagles' success came in front of the home crowd of Thomas Fieldhouse, where the group finished 7-5.
The Bald Eagles will look to return to postseason form from back in 2023 when they reached the opening round of the PSAC Championship Tournament in the same season Kraft was named the PSAC East Coach of the Year.
Incoming Class
The Bald Eagles welcome four student-athletes from Minnesota, Florida, Ohio and Maryland.
"We are very excited to about these four ladies of our 2026 incoming class," said Kraft. "They are proven winners both on the court and in the classroom and will add immediate competition to the positions they play."

The Road Ahead
The Bald Eagles open the season at the D'Youville Tournament in Buffalo, New York, from Aug. 27-29. Lock Haven will face host D'Youville, Kutztown, Pitt-Johnstown and Lewis during the opening weekend.
Lock Haven will then travel to Rochester, New York, for the Roberts Wesleyan Tournament on Sept. 4-5 before returning home to host the Lock Haven Tournament on Sept. 11-12.
The home tournament will feature matches against Virginia State, Edinboro and Jefferson.
The Bald Eagles begin Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division play on Sept. 18 at Bloomsburg. Lock Haven's first PSAC home match is set for Sept. 29 against Millersville.
The 2026 home schedule also includes matchups against Lackawanna, Shippensburg, East Stroudsburg, Shepherd, Bloomsburg, West Chester and Kutztown.
The regular season concludes with back-to-back home matches against West Chester on Nov. 6 and Kutztown on Nov. 7. The PSAC Tournament is scheduled to begin with the quarterfinal round on Nov. 10.
