Lock Haven Athletics

2011: Tim had a 13^th place finish at the Dolan Duals this season with a time of 18:36.48. He finished in 7^th place at the 2011 Division II Challenge hosted by Kutztown University with a time of 26.22. At the LHU Invite, Tim had another 7^th place finish with a time of 26:34.50. Tim finished a team high 156^th out of 402 runners at the 38^th-annual Paul Short Run finishing with a time of 25:49 and took 31^st out of 184 runners at the Penn State National Meet with a time of 27.22. At the PSAC Championships, Tim took 8^th place overall with a time of 25:07.2 and at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships Tim placed 5^th out of 451 runners covering the 10K course in 32:09 and earned All-Region status by finishing in the top-25. At the NCAA Division II National Championships, Tim had an outstanding performance running in 53^rd overall with a time of 32:28.

2010: Had a solid season for the Bald Eagles...  Helped lead his team to the Atlantic Regional Championship... Also competed in the National Championship... Earned ALL PSAC Honors

2009: Redshirt

2008: Had a breakout sophomore season for the Bald Eagles…led Lock Haven to the NCAA Atlantic Region title with a 6th place finish while picking up All-Region honors…also earned All-PSAC certificate placing 8th at the PSAC Championships…finished up a stellar year by finishing 59th at the NCAA National Championships…also grabbed an early season victory at the Lock Haven Invitational.

2007: Finished 26th at NCAA Regional’s...21st at PSACs...16th at Dickinson...7th at Kutztown invite...24th at LHU invite.

In High School: Member of the National Honor Society and Heroes Program...First team Cross Country All Stars and competed in PIAA Track and Cross Country.

Personal: Son of Thomas and Deborah Getz...Born May 3, 1988...Health Sciences/Pre-Physical Therapy major.
