Lysa Mealing of the LHU women’s track and field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Mealing had a dominate performance all-around at the Big Red Invitational hosted at Cornell University where she qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship in both the shot put and the triple jump.

In the shot put Mealing placed eighth overall with a throw of 38-4 feet. While in the triple jump she soared to over a three feet season best mark of 37-9.25 for third place.
