EDINBORO, Pa. –
The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (6-7, 5-5 PSAC) fell today to No. 5 Edinboro (14-0, 10-0 PSAC) 82-52 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

Sharay Hall (Philadelphia/Carver) put up an all-around great performance as she led LHU in points, rebounds, blocks and steals.  She scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds, blocked three shots and tallied three steals.

Peaches Nesmith (Philadelphia/Northeast) was the only other Lady Eagle to score in double figures as she netted 12 points on 4-for-6 shooting from the field.  Nesmith also went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

The Lady Eagles could not overcome a big first half from EU, which saw the Fighting Scots shoot 56.8% (21-for-37) from the field.  EU led 48-22 at the break.

With the win, Edinboro tied its school record for most consecutive victories, and are just one of three women's NCAA Division II teams in the country to remain unbeaten.

The Lady Eagles are back in action Wednesday (January 18) when they host Clarion University at 6 p.m. in Thomas Fieldhouse.
