Men’s Soccer drops PSAC clash at Millersville, 2-0

Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (5-6-1, 2-4 PSAC) was shutout 2-0 on the road today at Millersville University (6-6, 3-2 PSAC) in conference action.

Millersville scored two goals less than six minutes apart late in the second half to secure the important PSAC win.

Clark Habecker put the Marauders up 1-0 in the 71st minute and Matt Kadoch made it 2-0 less than six minutes later when he scored off a corner.

Jacob Oldaker (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry), who leads Lock Haven with six goals on the year did all he could to spark The Haven's offense, but neither of his two shots could beat MU goalie Brad Benzing, who made four saves.

Lock Haven goalie Chris Frederick (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) did all he could to keep the Bald Eagles in the match and finished with eight saves.

Millersville held a slight advantage in shots at 16-10.

Lock Haven returns to action this Saturday (October 13) at noon when the Bald Eagles host West Chester in PSAC action.
