LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – It's been a long wait, but the regionally-ranked Lock Haven University women's soccer team is set for its return to the postseason.

The Bald Eagles are set for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) quarterfinal match tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 30) at No. 4 seed West Chester. Lock Haven is the No. 5 seed by way of its 11-4-1 PSAC record.

Tomorrow's game is set for a 1 p.m. start.

West Chester is 12-4-1 overall. Back on October 14, the Golden Rams downed Lock Haven, 2-0 in West Chester.

A quick look at LHU's PSAC tournament history:
LHU's last PSAC postseason appearance came in 2006. The Bald Eagles fell to Slippery Rock, 2-0 in First Round action. Lock Haven's last PSAC Tournament win came in 2003 as the Bald Eagles advanced to the PSAC title match. In the 2003 First Round, LHU downed Kutztown 3-0, before beating West Chester 2-1 in the semifinals. In the 2003 PSAC Championship, Slippery Rock downed Lock Haven 4-3. The Bald Eagles won the PSAC title in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

Foltz goal-scoring heroics lead the way:
On the season, goal-scoring sensation Marah Foltz has 17 goals. Her 17 goals are the most of any PSAC player in the league. Foltz's 17 goals are currently tied for the single-season school record and she needs just one more goal to pass Rachel Clemens who scored 17 goals during the 1997 season.

Swam caps a strong 1-2 scoring punch:
Haleigh Swam has nine goals on the season, the seventh most of any PSAC player. Swam and Foltz has helped LHU scored 32 goals, the third-most of any PSAC team during the regular season.

D-FENCE:
The Bald Eagles defensive unit has been sensational. Leading the way is the starting four of Janelle Swartz, Jordan Shoff, Erika Landis and Taylor Moritz. The Bald Eagles have pitched five shutouts on the year and have only allowed 16 goals in 16 games, the sixth-best mark among all 17 PSAC schools.

Jones the leader in the midfield:
Without question, one of LHU's biggest strengths has been the midfield play of Ella Jones, who does it all for Lock Haven. She's started all 16 games, has three assists and directs the play from her central position.

Hilty the last line of defense:
LHU goalkeeper Bree Hilty has been solid all season and even more so over the last few matches. She has a 0.97 goals-against-average and a .802 save-percentage. On the season, Hilty has 65 saves and four full individual-shutouts.

Regionally ranked:
Last week (Wednesday, Oct. 24), LHU was ranked No. 4 in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings. West Chester was ranked No. 7.
