LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's basketball team looks to continue their unbeaten 3-0 start in the upcoming week with a difficult span of three games in the space of just four days. The span includes a weekend Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West road trip against Cal. U and Slippery Rock, and concludes with a midweek clash against Holy Family.

The Bald Eagles start the weekend with their PSAC opener against Cal. U (Pa.) on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 3 p.m. The Vulcans have started the 2019-20 season at 2-2, and are winners of two straight over Salem and Davis & Elkins. In their only matchup last season Cal. edged out a 78-74 win over the Bald Eagles despite a 22 point performance from Jesse McPherson. The Vulcans are led by junior guard Brent Pegram, who is averaging a PSAC eighth best 20.5 points per game in the early season.

The Haven gets right back into action on Sunday (Nov. 24) at 3 p.m. for a showdown against Slippery Rock. The Rock will face Shippensburg on Saturday before playing the Bald Eagles, but currently hold a 2-2 record, featuring wins over Notre Dame College and Penn State Shenango. Slippery Rock got the better of the Bald Eagles last season notching a 79-71 win behind 55.6 percent onslaught from beyond the arc. Will Robinson Jr. is off to a red-hot start for the Rock and currently averages a double-double on the year. Robinson sits fourth in the PSAC at 22.3 points per game and a conference third best 10 rebounds per game.

LHU gets one day off before returning to Thomas Fieldhouse on Tuesday (Nov. 16) at 7 p.m. to host Holy Family. Before their matchup with the Bald Eagles, the Tigers, currently 1-4, host Cheyney on Saturday (Nov. 23). Holy Family's leading scorer is senior forward Branden Aughburns who is averaging 15.8 points per game, including most recently a 32 points outburst against West Chester.

After their matchup with Holy Family, the Bald Eagles enjoy a Thanksgiving break before returning to the hardwood to host Seton Hill on Saturday, December 7 for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
