LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The red-hot Lock Haven women's basketball team is set to return to action tomorrow afternoon (Dec. 30) and will host Slippery Rock University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East-West crossover game at 1 p.m. inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
 
Off to their best start in over 30 years, the Bald Eagles are 9-1 overall and remain undefeated in the PSAC (4-0). The Bald Eagles are riding a nine-game winning-streak, which it the longest for The Haven since starting the 1989-90 season a perfect 9-0.
 
Facing their toughest task so far this season in its last contest, Lock Haven handed the 13th-ranked team in the country, Cal (8-2, 3-1 PSAC), its second loss overall and first in conference with an impressive 69-58 road victory.
 
Lock Haven, who currently sits at No. 8 in the Atlantic Region rankings, is the only unbeaten team remaining in the PSAC East and sits atop the standings. The Haven has won nine games in a row and hasn't lost since the first game of the season.
 
The Haven is currently 4-0 at home and 4-0 on the road, with its lone defeat coming at a neutral site on the opening day of the season.

Robinson, Jordan sweep PSAC East Women's Basketball weekly awards
 
The Bald Eagles swept this week's (Dec. 20) PSAC East Athletes of the Week with Alana Robinson and Jenadia Jordan being recognized for their efforts on offense and defense during Lock Haven's perfect week.
 
In the two victories, Robinson blocked seven shots and plucked three steals.
 
Robinson kicked off the week with 22 points (9-of-14), seven rebounds, three blocks and four steals in the victory over Seton Hill, before leading Lock Haven to an upset over the No. 13 Vulcans with 13 points, five rebounds and four blocks.
 
Jordan was a swiss-army knife during the 2-0 week for Lock Haven, averaging 18.5 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and a block during the week.
 
The sophomore guard led the Bald Eagles to their ninth straight victory over their toughest opponent of the season, Cal, where she poured in 20 points to go with four rebounds, four steals and two blocks.
