LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The red-hot Lock Haven men's wrestling team is set to host Bucknell in Thomas Fieldhouse on Thursday (Jan. 30) at 7 p.m.

The Bald Eagles are calling for a Crimson Out in the Fieldhouse and encouraging all fans to wear crimson in support for the Lock Haven wrestling program.

The Haven will also hold a ring ceremony for its 2024 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Champions (125 Ibs. Anthony Noto, 141 Ibs. Wyatt Henson, 133 Ibs. Gable Strickland) prior to the match.

The No. 1 ranked team in the MAC, Lock Haven, is coming off a huge week that featured a pair of conference victories over Kent State and George Mason.

The Haven has won five consecutive matches dating back to Jan. 5 to improve to 9-5 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the MAC.

To start the week, the Bald Eagles won nine of 10 bouts and picked up bonus points in six of those wins as they returned home and earned a lopsided 42-6 win over Kent State.

Lock Haven recorded three pins, a tech fall, and one major decision. The Bald Eagles added three wins by decision and picked up a victory by way of forfeit on the night.

In the comeback victory over George Mason, Anthony Noto and Wyatt Henson recorded back-to-back tech falls in the final two bouts of the dual to help Lock Haven secure a 19-17 comeback-win on the road.

Noto – a two-time All-American – secured a pair of tech falls during the week to earn his 100th career victory at The Haven.
