LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the second time this season, Lock Haven men's basketball forward
Blake Deegan was tabbed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday (Dec. 1).
Deegan earned his second PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week Honor of the young season, after bringing home the award on Nov. 18.
Deegan's efforts helped lead the Bald Eagles to a huge come-from-behind victory over Roberts Wesleyan, 88-83 in overtime, on Monday (Nov. 24).
In the victory, Deegan finished with a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double and point the exclamation point on the win after finishing the backend of an ally-oop from
Mike Green.
Deegan also plucked a team-high two steals and had a thunderous rejection in the second half, which sparked the late comeback.
The redshirt sophomore also collected a team-high 11 rebounds, securing a double-double.

The Bald Eagles return to Thomas Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Dec. 3 (7 p.m.) and will host Penn State-Scranton in a non-conference game.
