LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's indoor track team competed at the Bison Opener at Bucknell University on Saturday (Dec. 6).

The meet was Lock Haven's first indoor meet of the season and its first of two meets at Bucknell this winter.

Highlights:

Samantha Trench (fifth, 9.07) qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship on Saturday in the Prelims for the women's 60m Hurdles.

Elizabeth Shultz (fourth, 2:23.41) also qualified for PSACs in the 800-meter race by finishing fourth with a time of 2:23.41.

Lock Haven returns to action by sending athletes to State College, Pa., to compete in the Nittany Lion Open, as well as the River Hawk Invite in Selinsgrove, Pa., on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026.
