Carroll and Sechrist medal on final day at the PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

The 2025 Indoor Track & Field Championship season is underway for the Lock Haven women’s track & field team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Saturday, March 2) – The Lock Haven women landed on the podium twice on the final day of the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships at Lehigh University's Ranch Fieldhouse in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
 
The Bald Eagles totaled 29 points and ended the PSAC Championships in ninth place. Slippery Rock (153 points) led the way, with Shippensburg (90.5 points) and East Stroudsburg (82.75 points) coming in at second and third, respectively.
 
Medal and Podium Finishes
Nicole Carroll 2nd (800-meter) and Aubrey Sechrist 3rd (800-meter), Claire Hauser 6th (800-meter), Samantha Trench 6th (60-meter hurdles), Reagan Irons 4th (high jump)
 
Running Highlights
Carroll and Sechrist post earned medals as they finished second (silver) and third (bronze) in the 800-meter with times of 2:19.06 and 2:19.71, respectively. Carroll and Sechrist secured All-Conference honors.
 
Claire Hauser joined Carroll and Sechrist in scoring team points in the 800-meter where she finished sixth with a time of 2:20.32 to land on the podium; the trio scored 17 team points.
 
After qualifying for the finals in 60-meter hurdles, Samantha Trench finished sixth with a time of 9.09, scoring three team points and a podium spot.
 
Gwen Lloyd competed in the 3000-meter where she finished with a time of 10:37.67.
 
The squad of Carroll, Natalie Gentzel, Hauser and Elizabeth Shultz finished with a time of 4:05.64 in the 4x400-meter relay.
 
Field Highlights
Reagan Irons scored four team points in the high jump where she jumped to a fourth-place finish with a height of 1.62-meters (05-03.75).
 
Trench also competed in the high jump where she jumped to a height of 1.57 (05-01.75).
 
Clarissa Davis threw for a distance of 11.84-meters (38-10.25) in the shot put.
 
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles travel to the University of Indianapolis for the NCAA Division II Championships next week (March 13).
