PENN RELAYS RESULTS
PAUL KAISER CLASSIC
PHILADELPHIA/SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's outdoor track and field team sent competitors to the Penn Relays and Paul Kaiser Classic over the weekend (April 24-25).
Penn Relays
The Bald Eagles sent some of their best athletes to the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States and came home with a podium finisher.
The young Bald Eagle Javelin Throw trio continued its impressive season.
Freshman
Olivia Spotts found the podium by finishing in eighth place. Spotts reached an impressive mark of 136-4 (41.56m).
Sophomore
Maria Puglia took 18th by reaching 123-5 (37.62m) and freshman
Ava Komorowski reached 116-10 (35.62m) to take 25th.
Elizabeth Shultz,
Kelci Carle,
Alexanne Fite and Rain Collins took 12th in the 4x400m (Eastern) by finishing in 4:07.15
Lillian Bradley, Fite,
Makayla Grace Weber and
Nicole Carroll finished with the fourth-best time in program history in the Sprint Medley Relay. The Bald Eagle quartet finished in 4:15.30.
Paul Kaiser Classic
Natalie Gentzel took second in the 400m Hurdles by finishing in 1:06.78. Weber finished third with a 1:06.80.
Reagan Irons took third in the High Jump by clearing a mark of 5-1 (1.55m).
Samantha Trench finished third in the 100m Hurdles prelims. Trench earned a PSAC qualifying time of 15.10. Trench also earned sixth place in the High Jump by clearing a mark of 4-11 (1.50m).
Kaydence Strange finished fourth in the 5000m by finishing in 18:52.71.
Collins took fifth in the 400m by finishing in 1:01.42.
Kelci Carle took seventh in the event with a time of 1:02.41.
Alannah Irwin took eighth in the Long Jump by clearing a mark of 16-2.25 (4.93m) and
Emily Warta took eighth in Javelin Throw by reaching a mark of 98-4 (29.98m).

The Lock Haven women's track and field team will send its qualified competitors to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships in Shippensburg, Pa. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (April 30 - May 2).
